I just received my order today. It took a little longer than normal, but that is because I added two custom knives to this standard set - a bread knife as well as a fillet knife.
The set came in a very nice leather carrying case where each knife had it's own custom sized scabbard in the case. These knives are quite substantial, but very well balanced. And sharp? I was cutting paper thin slices of jalapeno pepper right out of the case. Beautiful craftsmanship that will perfectly accentuate my wife's newly remodeled kitchen. The owner will also engrave whatever you like in the knives, but in our case, we didn't want anything to detract from the magnificent beauty of these knives. Yes, we did pay a little more for our custom set, but my wife and I both feel we received exceptional value for the money we spent especially in comparison to what they charge for commercial knife sets. This will likely be the last knife set we will ever have to buy. And frankly, now that I've seen the quality, I'm probably going to order a matching steak knife set.
We would absolutely recommend this company and their knife sets to anyone looking to upgrade. I guarantee, you won't be disappointed.

I received my knife set today and I am blown away. These knives are beautifully handcrafted and they are sharp. The knives have weight to them which will help with slicing, dicing and chopping but well balanced. Most importantly to me, the handles fit in my hand being a petite woman. I love everything about this knife set and getting the real leather rollup is a bonus. The leather rollup has been handmade as well. We had the "James Gang" engraved on every knife and it is wonderful. I will have to hide these from my son Matt and my son-in-law Joshua. The price paid for this set is well below what I thought I would pay for a set of knives of this caliber and craftsmanship. If you are looking for knives for your kitchen, restaurant or catering business here you are!

The craftmanship is amazing and he even laser engraved my last name on the handle. Not only is it beautiful but solid as well. This will be a heirloom for my son and family long after I am gone. I will be buying more from him soon.
